Educational Qualification:

Graduate Apprentice:

For Graduate Apprentice (Mechanic/ Auto Engineering):

  • A Degree in Engineering or Technology (Mechanical/Automobile) granted by a Statutory University.  A Degree in engineering or Technology (Mechanical /Automobile) granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament.
  • Graduate Examination of Professional Bodies recognized by the Central Government as equivalent.

For Graduate Apprentice (Communication Navigational Surveillance):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engg./Tech. in Electronics/Tele Communication/Electrical with specialization in Electronics from a recognized Institution.

For Graduate Apprentice (Information Technology/ Computer Science):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engg./ Tech. in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ IT/ Electronics.

Diploma Apprentice:

For Diploma Apprentice (Mechanic/ Auto Engineering):

  • A Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Mechanical/ Auto -mobile) granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government. A Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Mechanical
    /Automobile) by a University.
  • A Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Mechanical /Automobile) granted by an Institute recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent.

For Diploma Apprentice (Communication Navigational Surveillance):

  • Diploma in Electronics/Tele Communication/Radio Engineering from a recognized Institution.

For Diploma Apprentice (Information Technology/ Computer Science) :

  • Diploma in Engg./Technical in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/IT /Electronics.

ITI/Trade Apprentice

For ITI Trade Apprentice (Motor Vehicle Mechanic):

  • A Certificate in Vocational Course ( in Mechanic-Motor Vehicle) involving 2 years of study after the completion of secondary stage of school education/ 10th Class examination recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) / State Council of Vocational Education.

For ITI Trade Apprentice (Diesel Mechanic):

  • A Certificate in Vocational Course (in Mechanic-Diesel) involving Two years of study after the completion of secondary stage of school education/ 10th Class examination recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) / State Council of Vocational Education.

Age Limit ( as on 30.11.2020 ):

  • For General – 18 to 26 years

Upper age is relaxable by:

  • For OBC – up to 3 years
  • For SC/ST – up to 5 years

AAI Recruitment 2020 Selection Process:

  • The selection process will be based on percentage of marks in the qualifying examination.
  • The Selection will be based on Interview/verification of certificates/testimonials and submission of CERTIFICATE OF MEDICAL FITNESS (to be obtained only from a Gazetted Government Medical Officer/Medical Officer of a Government Undertaking) at the time of joining.
  • Police verification certificate to be obtained from local area of residence. The shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/Document verification through their registered E-mail ID only.

For Graduate/Diploma Apprentice, all the interested and eligible candidates should register themselves in NATS web portal for apprenticeship training. After completing enrollment / registration as Apprentice, the candidates have to apply to the respective discipline through the NATS portal against seats notified by AAI (ID No. / Registration Number of AIRPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA, WESTERN REGION in NATS Portal is WMHMCC000058).  For ITI Apprentice, candidates should register themselves in NSDC web portal for apprenticeship training . The last date to apply is from 09 December 2020  to 31 December 2020.

Educational Qualification: 

Manager (Fire Services)

  • Candidates should possess B.E / B. Tech Degree in Fire Engg./ Mechanical Engg./ Automobile Engg.
  • Should have 5 years’ work experience in executive cadre in the field of Fire Services

Manager (Technical)

  • Candidates should possess B.E / B. Tech Degree in Mechanical or Automobile.
  • 5 years’ work experience in executive cadre in the field of Government Procurement Procedures for Goods, Services, Equipment and Vehicles etc

Junior Executive (Air Traffic Control)

  • Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree of Three Years in Science (B. Sc.) with Physics and Mathematics OR Bachelor’s Degree in  Engineering in any discipline (Physics and Mathematics should be subjects in any one of the semester curriculum).
  • No experience is essential.

Junior Executive (Airport  Operations)

  • Candidates should possess Graduate in Science and MBA of 2 years duration. OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • No experience is essential.

Junior Executive (Technical)

  • Candidates should possess B.E / B. Tech Degree in Mechanical or Automobile.
  • No experience is essential.

Note: –

1. Degree/Diploma/Certificate/Membership Examination should be:-

  • From a Recognized/Deemed university or from an apex institution i.e. (IIT/IIMs/XLRI/TISS etc.) recognized by
    Govt. of India; and
  • Percentage of marks: – Minimum 60% marks or equivalent for Bachelor’s Degree and also for P.G.
    Degree/Diploma including MBA.

2. Candidates having B.E./B. Tech/ B. Sc. (Engg.) Degree are allowed to apply against the posts for which essential

AAI Junior Executive Selection Process:

  • Based on the online application candidates will be called for the online examination. The admit card for the online examination will be sent through E-Mail. There will not be any negative marking for the wrong answer attempted by the candidates.
  • Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in On-line examination and they will be called for Documents verification / Interview / Physical Measurement and Endurance Test/ Driving Test/ Voice test, as applicable for the post
  • For the post of Manager (Fire Services), On-line examination will be followed by document verification, Physical Measurement& Endurance Test which includes Running, Causality Carrying, Pole Climbing, Ladder Climbing& Rope Climbing and Driving Test.
  • For the post of Junior Executive (Airport Operations), Light Motor Vehicles License is essential. Temporary/ Learning License will not be accepted
  • For the post of Junior Executive (Air Traffic Control), On-line examination will be followed by documents verification, Voice Test and Background Verification
