Eligible Guest Teachers may receive 5 marks per year of eligible service, up to 25 marks, subject to the pending LPA No. 593/2024 outcome/effect and prescribed proof. — Qualifying requirements apply; merit uses Part II for Classes 1–5 and Parts II+III for Classes 6–8, 9–10 and 11–12.

Objective MCQ examination; each question carries 1 mark.
Five answer options A, B, C, D and E are provided. If a candidate does not wish to answer with A–D, option E must be selected.
Negative marking is 1/3 mark for each wrong answer. If no option is marked, 1/3 mark is also deducted for each such unanswered question.
The Commission may decide the cut-off/qualifying standard under the applicable rules; no re-evaluation is provided.

12. Documents Required

Matriculation certificate for date of birth. Educational qualification certificates and mark sheets required for the applied post. Professional/training qualification certificates required for the applied post. Applicable CTET/BTET/STET qualification certificate/mark sheet; STET 2026 appearing candidates must provide the required declaration and later prove passing as prescribed. Valid RCI CRR number/certificate and special-education documents where applicable. Six-month cross-disability training certificate where applicable. Guest Teacher experience/service certificate and appointment letter where service weightage is claimed. BC/EBC non-creamy-layer certificate, where applicable. SC/ST caste and domicile/residence certificates, where applicable. EWS income and asset certificate in the prescribed form, where applicable. PwD certificate in the prescribed form; scribe-related certificate/undertaking where applicable. Freedom Fighter descendant certificate, where applicable. Transgender certificate and Bihar domicile proof where applicable. Bihar-domicile proof for unreserved women claiming the applicable reservation benefit. Age-relaxation certificate for serving Panchayati Raj/Urban Local Body teachers, ex-servicemen or Bihar Government employees, where applicable. No Objection Certificate for candidates employed under Central Government, Bihar Government or another State Government, where applicable. Photo identity document as declared in the online application. Printed copy of the submitted application and e-Admit Card when required for verification/examination. Four recent passport-size photographs for later verification when required.

13. How to Apply

Open the BPSC Online portal and complete One Time Registration (OTR) using a valid active email ID and mobile number; multiple OTR registrations are not permitted. After OTR, use DigiLocker/Meri Pehchan if desired/available, provide consent to link documents, or proceed to the online application portal as instructed. Create the profile in the six prescribed steps: Personal Information, Address Information, Other Information, Qualification Information, Experience Information, and Photo/Signature Upload with Profile Lock. Upload the live webcam photograph and the required English and Hindi signatures; verify all profile data before submitting and locking the profile. Open the New Application tab, accept the terms, select Advertisement No. 15/2026 and the eligible post/subject/class-group preferences, then calculate and pay the fee through the available online payment/SBI gateway. After successful payment, click Apply / Proceed to Application, complete the application form and use Submit Application for final submission. If applying for more than one eligible teacher class group, submit one online application and enter class-group priority according to qualification and age eligibility. Use My Account to verify the submitted application and download/print the Application Form after final submission.

14. Important Instructions

Advertisement No. 15/2026 dated 22.09.2026 cancels Advertisement No. 14/2026 dated 18.08.2026; use the revised advertisement. Reservation benefits under the advertisement are available only to eligible Bihar-domicile candidates and require the prescribed valid certificates. The applicant must select only a subject for which the relevant Teacher Eligibility Test has been passed; if more than one relevant subject has been passed, one subject may be selected as allowed by the advertisement. Candidates eligible for more than one class group must state priorities in one application. Once selected against a higher priority in result processing, lower priorities become irrelevant as described in the advertisement. Under the cited 2024 School Teacher service-rule amendment, a candidate may participate in this recruitment examination a maximum of five times. Under the Education Department notification cited in the advertisement, 40% of School Teacher vacancies are to be filled from candidates who passed Matric or Intermediate from educational institutions located in Bihar; if sufficient eligible candidates are not available against that 40%, the remaining such vacancies may be filled from eligible candidates of the corresponding category under the other vacancy pool, as stated in the notification. Profile details can be corrected by unlocking before final submission as permitted. After applying for an advertisement, details for that advertisement cannot be changed; post/subject changes after payment require cancellation and restarting the process where the portal permits. Cancelled payment/application amounts are not refundable, and chargeback claims for cancelled transactions are not accepted. Payment alone is not enough: Final Application Form Submit must also be completed, otherwise candidature is not treated as complete. Keep the registered email ID and mobile number active and secure until final result; use only the candidate’s own contact details. Certificates relied upon for qualification, experience, TET and reservation must satisfy the issue-date rules; certificates issued after the application closing date are not accepted unless an official extension changes the relevant deadline. Do not send hard copies to BPSC unless specifically asked; candidature is verified from the online application and documents. An application print lacking Application Number, Application ID and Bar Code is not treated as completely submitted. The Commission may revise/reject candidature after Education Department verification if online claims and documents do not match. The number of vacancies may change if the Education Department revises its requisition. BPSC states that examination may be conducted in more than one phase depending on candidate volume; Advertisement 15/2026 itself specifies the objective written-paper pattern but does not publish an exam date. No re-evaluation is provided for the objective written examination. District allotment is to be made by the Administrative Department / Education Department; the revised advertisement does not print a 38-district preference rule in its 24 pages.
